Dr. Tania Ohebsion was born and raised in Los Angeles and feels blessed to be able to serve the health care needs of the population she is most familiar with. She received her B.S. in Biology from UCLA where she was awarded a full scholarship as a Regent Scholar and graduated Summa Cum Laude. She was then admitted to the UCLA School of Dentistry where she excelled both in and out of the clinic, graduating Cum Laud and receiving admissions to the prestigious OKU National Dental Honor Society. At graduation, she was also given the Eleanor J. Bushee Senior Student Award from the American Association of Women Dentists for academic excellence and outstanding leadership.

Dr. Tania chose a career in orthodontics because she wanted to have an impact on someone’s life in a way that was positive, personal, and would last a lifetime. After attending UCLA for both her undergraduate and dental education, she trained at UCLA’s Orthodontic residency program where she also obtained a Masters in Oral Biology. There she was exposed to numerous cutting-edge techniques in orthodontics taught by world-renowned faculty members. Prior to her graduation she was selected by the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics as a finalist for the Eugene L. Gotlieb Student of the Year Award.

Dr. Tania is thrilled to be a part of Century City Smiles, where she can provide high quality, personalized treatment for each individual patient. When she is not seeing patients Dr. Tania loves yoga, biking by the beach, traveling as much as possible, trying new restaurants, and watching everything on Netflix. She also enjoys spending time with her son Alexander and husband Dr. Shawn.
